Centrally located in Middletown, Connecticut, the historic Mattabesett Canoe Club has been an entertainment and dining destination for decades. Originally built in 1915, it is still the only year round restaurant on the Connecticut River. New owners have transformed the interior to a bright and airy backdrop with amazing river vista views.

The Canoe Club is a sprawling 12,000 square foot facility on 3 floors, each with their own unique ambiance. Every space is versatile and can accommodate a variety of functions and themes to fit your needs. We have successfully hosted a variety of events, including weddings, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, birthdays, retirement parties, christenings, political fundraisers, investment seminars, pharmaceutical meetings, corporate parties and more.
